Waco Bottling LLC, in Woodway, TX seeks a Director of Engineering to Oversee the company's engineering processes and design and implement bottle filling routes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the company's engineering processes and design and implement bottle filling routes. Implement preventative maintenance systems for equipment and machinery. Standardize manufacturing processes and changeover by establishing parameters. Design and implement training in Lean Manufacturing concepts for staff members. Design and apply concepts related to quality improvement including Error Proofing, Control Plans and Statistical Control of the Process applied to the torque of installation of caps. Scrap reduction through a rebalancing of production lines and problem analysis. Improve labor performance by applying timetaking, cycles, and manual times for a better workload per station. Design capacity charts for future projects and production increases.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

MINIMUM EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 24 months experience in Lean Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
